Rules for Use of the Space

YOURSPACE COWORKING is a privately-owned space designed to serve as a meeting point for remote workers, freelancers, and professionals from any sector. Our mission is to foster networking, provide training opportunities, and promote the sharing of knowledge — both within the professional community and with society at large.

The space is open to all individuals who wish to work in a shared office environment and participate in the activities held here.

YOURSPACE COWORKING is located in the heart of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (C/ Bethencourt Alfonso 2, 6th floor, right door), in the same building as Taberna El Cambullón and Lucky Helado.

These rules are intended to ensure the smooth operation of both the space as a whole and the specific work areas within YOURSPACE COWORKING.

I. General Rules of the Center: Common Areas

The access schedule to the coworking space is restricted to the following hours:

  • Daily rate: from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on working days

  • Weekly or monthly rates: 24/7 access

YOURSPACE COWORKING is a multidisciplinary center where various events may be held simultaneously; therefore, the proper use of the facilities benefits all users. The following points outline basic coexistence rules for the center’s common areas:

  • Mobile phone use in common areas: Please avoid phone conversations in common areas out of respect for other users, except in designated work areas intended for this purpose. If necessary, moderate your voice during the conversation.

  • Food and drink in common areas: For hygiene and safety reasons, eating and/or drinking is prohibited in any common area, except in the office and Meeting Point areas where specific rules apply.

  • Use and care of common areas: Proper use of furniture and facilities benefits all users. Improper use of spaces or equipment (including furniture, machines, kitchen items, technical material, etc.) may result in permanent expulsion and liability for damages caused.

  • Coexistence and respect: YOURSPACE COWORKING promotes respect and good coexistence among all users. Discriminatory behavior based on religion, gender, age, or other beliefs is not tolerated.

  • Recycling and sustainability: YOURSPACE COWORKING is committed to sustainability and environmental care. Recycling points for waste and paper are provided. Proper use benefits society and the coworking community.

 

II. General Rules of the Center: Specific Common Areas

  • Reception Area:
    YOURSPACE COWORKING has a reception desk to assist users at any time.
    Upon entering, please wait to be attended before accessing the rest of the facilities. If others are being attended to, please wait your turn.
    For any questions or issues, approach the staff for assistance.

  • Social Area (Office and Kitchen):
    In case of any problems, please contact the reception staff.
    Maintain order and cleanliness: do not leave trash, papers, dishes, cups, or cans. Dishes, cups and cutlery has to be cleaned and stored immediatly after use.
    The social area is for resting between meetings or work hours — it is not intended for meetings or work activities.
    After consuming food, please dispose of waste properly in the recycling bins provided.
    Proper use coffee machines and dishwasher is essential for everyone’s benefit.

  • Others:

    • Elevator: Priority use for people with mobility issues. 

    • Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi is available. Access credentials can be requested at reception.

    • Recycling: Recycling bins are available throughout the space; please use them properly.

III. Specific Rules: Work Areas

YOURSPACE COWORKING offers different work areas. Rules for each are outlined below:

1. Meeting Room and Acoustic Cabins

The center has a meeting room (capacity: up to 8 people) equipped with a video conferencing screen/projector and 3 acoustic call booths.

  • Go directly to your reserved location, keeping a low voice and avoiding calls while passing through common areas.

  • After use, leave the space tidy and avoid disturbing others.

  • Eating and drinking are prohibited in these areas.

  • Take care of furniture and leave everything as you found it.

  • Do not leave materials or papers on tables or elsewhere.

  • The video conferencing/projection screen is available during the reservation but must be turned off afterward.

  • Report any issues immediately to the staff.

  • Remote controls and other devices must be returned to their original place after use.

  • The use of the meeting room has to be booked in advance.
  • The use of the acoustic cabins are limited to a total of one hour per day / per person. 

2. Coworking Area

The coworking area has 20 workstations available for users.

  • Proceed directly to your reserved spot upon entering, keeping your voice low and avoiding calls in common areas.

  • Eating and drinking are prohibited in this area.

  • Take care of furniture and leave your workspace clean and tidy.

  • Making and receiving phone calls is permitted, but use a moderate tone and avoid disturbing others.

  • Workstations will be individually assigned upon booking by YOURSPACE COWORKING staff.

  • The coworking area is intended for individual work, not meetings. Please respect others’ work.

3. Locker Area

Lockers are available to store personal belongings if necessary.

  • Locker use is restricted to the Coworkings’ opening hours (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM).

  • Items left after hours cannot be retrieved until the next opening.

  • YOURSPACE COWORKING is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

  • To reserve a locker, contact reception in person.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance by sending an email to info@yourspace.work within our working hours.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start of the reservation, and the booking will be canceled without the possibility of rescheduling for later dates.
